awesome blog...and i am sure big companies do something weird to get it super white but to get it less yellow its the lemon juice that whitens it, and safflower oil instead of canola oil or olive oil, i like half safflower and half olive though(safflower leaves less of the yellowy color and actually leaves the taste more neutral than any other oil)
but yes thank you for the blog i only had a recipe for a huge batch and this one will let me make just enough instead of wasting
Just Crumbs... started as a post it note, sitting on my desk for a over a year. It was just an idea. An idea that I never thought that would materialize. Well it has and it is here.
It is a blog for those that think that they are inexperienced around the kitchen. Just have faith in yourself and you can achieve the impossible. Yes, there will be recipes that do not turn out for you, but don't give up. I still have many things that don't turn out for me, or things that I have made numerous times in the past and for some reason the current time doesn't turn out. It happens, its going to happen. Learn from it and go on.
One last thing; be creative, have fun and share your food with others.
To sum it up in the words of Julia Child ~ Learn how to cook -- try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all have fun!
